Calendiary 2020

Events and itineraries

The 2020 Calendiary leads us to the discovery of Basilicata with a special guide on comic strips: a young traveller, a curious and attentive explorer, inspired by the tourist board’s promotional campaign “Ten good reasons to come to Basilicata”. Like us, he falls in love with Basilicata and its beauty, which is found not only in the top tourist attractions but also in the people he meets, as well as in the hidden glimpses he gets almost by chance, the unexpected moments of happiness he lives in villages steeped in thousand-year old history and culture, in the genuine gastronomy, happy festivals and popular traditions. Our friend will keep us company through this journey and introduce us to the spirit of the seasons with a piece of music. Look for each track and listen to it to let yourself be tempted by the desire of the journey.

Basilicata in Camper

Events and itineraries

Basilicata is one of the most varied regions of Italy. Its territory rises from the sea level up to 2.266 meters in Serra Dolcedorme, the highest peak of the Pollino mountain range. Up north, other mountain peaks, from Mount Alpi to the wooded peaks surrounding Potenza, complete the scenery of a rough and rocky land, yet coloured by the greenery of its wooded highlands. Among hundreds of limestone peaks stands the unmisteakable shape of Mount Vulture, an extinct vulcano flanked by the Pollino lakes and the sandstone pinnacles of the Lucanian Dolomites.
